In a first attempt to characterize possible interactions between metabolic parameters out of capillary blood, determined by the CSA method and a NOVAPhox-M device and other differential data gained by biofeedback investigation, a control group and a group that had to undergo sleep deprivation has been compared. By and large it turned out that a considerable number of metabolic- and biofeedback parameters did correlate significantly, whereby the resulting type of correlation was dependent upon the basic condition (sleep deprivation) of the probands. 19 correlations of the controls were juxtaposed to 27 of the test. Certain correlations (RespADiff/pH, Lakt./ pO_2, TempDiff./pH, BVpDiff./Re-spFDiff, PVADiff/TempDif PVA-Diff/pC_O2, PulsDiff/ TempDiff) were exclusively seen in controls, others (chronic residual acidty with pH, BE, HCO_3, Ca and lactet with pCPO_2, pO_2, RespDiff, RespADiff) in tests only. Just a single correlation (BVPDif./K) was common to both groups. It has been of considerable interest to us that Mg only correlates in the control group with four other parameters, two of them biofeedback differences. However,
