Bayer MDI in Shanghai Moves ahead

Bayer MaterialScience's 350 000 tons/year MDI project at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP) further advanced on August 12,with the signing of a contract for the transfer of land use rights at SCIP for the project.The USUS25.6 million contract will see Bayer MaterialScience acquire the rights to approximately 441 000 square meter of land that will be the site for Bayer's most advanced isocyanate production complex in the world.
