摘要

Stress strain curves of the aluminium chromium alloys containing trace amounts of rare earths at various strain rates are used to determine the parameters of work hardening at various stages. The influence of strain rate and ageing temperature on the work hardening parameters is studied. From the results of experiments, the deformation behaviour of the above alloys is analysed. The high values of strain rate sensitivity measured in the above alloys at different ageing temperatures are indicative of dormant superplasticity, and an explanation on the basis of microstructural analysis is attempted.
