Conducting polyaniline films can be successfully deposited on low alloy steels from an aqueous solution of oxalic acid and p - toluene sulfonic acid both by the potentiodynamic mode and galvanostatic mode. Characterization of the polyaniline film deposited on the steel samples and corrosion studies on polyaniline coated steel samples are in progress.
