A new approach of solving estimation problems for smart structures

摘要

Estimation problems arise in the design of smart structures. A new approach for solving the estimation problems is presented. Simplified estimation algorithms are developed, and the levels of nonoptimality for these algorithms which can becalculated with relatively simple numerical means are obtained. These simplified estimation algorithms can be readily implemented in the cases of quite realistic noise models for the measurement information in the description of the smart structures. Atypical example for an identification problem for a smart structure is discussed.
