摘要

A century of tractor history is reviewed, focusing on the top ten developments that tended to influence subsequent agricultural development, viz., death knell of steam, standardized tractor tests, tractor power take-offs, row crop tractors, pneumatic tyres, three-point hitch, hydraulic systems, comfort and safety, changes in fuels, and traction improvements.
