AS we look forward to the spring/summer period of 2010 we expect to see improved optimism. The fascination with Obama and his growing idol status is reminiscent of JFK back in the late 1950s/early 1960s. This era, and the Kennedys' association with that period, reflected a unique optimism, positivity and daring attitude. Anything seemed possible! Obama is now the benefactor of the nostalgic feeling that real change is coming.
