AUSTRALIA: Iluka Opens the Kulwin Mine

On 13 October 2009 - about three months later than originally scheduled - Iluka produced the first heavy mineral concentrates from its new Kulwin mine, marking the start of the Murray Basin Phase 2 project. The first batch of heavy mineral concentrates was delivered to the Hamilton mineral separation plant before the end of the year.
