KRONOS: Riding the TiO2 Rollercoaster, Operating Plants at 48% in Ql, 97% in Q3

In common with all the other TiO2 pigment multinationals, Kronos saw a sharp downturn in global pigment sales volume, comparing H1 2009 against H1 2008.DuPont reported TiO2 sales tonnage down by 15-20%. Huntsman reported TiO2 sales tonnage down by 22%. Kronos reported TiO2 sales tonnage down by 21%, from 268,000 tonnes in H1 2008 to 211,000 tonnes in H1 2009.
