Review of the Haliplidae of Myanmar with description of Haliplus volpei (Coleoptera)

The present knowledge about the Haliplidae from Myanmar (Burma) is reviewed.Six species are recorded including Haliplus (Liaphlus) volpei sp. n., that is describedfrom two male specimens from Central Myanmar (Mandalay Div.). It is closelyrelated to Haliplus arrowi Guignot, 1936, H. kotoshonis Van Vondel, 1991 andH. srilankanus Van Vondel, 1993.
