AUSTRALIA: Narngulu Plant Can Process up to 600,000 t.p.a. of HMCs from New J/A Mine

For the year to end-December 2010, Iluka produced 628,300 tonnes of heavy mineral concentrates at its Jacinth/Ambrosia mine in South Australia. About two-thirds of this material - 423,200 tonnes, in fact - was processed at the newly upgraded mineral separation facility at Narngulu (near Geraldton, Western Australia).
