Tronox has decided to keep the 107,000 t.p.a.sulfate-route TiO2 pigment plant at Krefeld-Uerdingen after all.The company had declared that it was inviting offers for the plant back in March 2007.On 17 May,Tronox stated that it had drawn up a shortlist of potential purchasers,who had expressed serious interest,but then six weeks later it declared that it had waived the deadline for bids and would still consider late offers.
