The acquisition of ICI plc (of London) by Akzo Nobel (of Amsterdam) was completed on 2 January 2008.Trading in ICI shares on the London Stock Exchange had already been suspended with effect from 17:00 GMT on 19 December 2007 and ICI was formally delisted on 3 January 2008.
