Makers, dealers differ on 2011 fill rate projections

AKRON-No one is arguing that tire supply was an issue in 2010, but there seems to be some disagreement as to what the market will face in the coming year.By most accounts, with demand for tires increasing faster than production would allow in 2010, many manufacturers had trouble supplying dealers with all the tires they needed. However, most are going into 2011 with cautious optimism about continuing improvements in fill rates.
