The contribution of tire/road noise to the overall noise of cars and motorcycles

Traffic noise is one of the major environmental problems in urban and suburban areas.In most countries traffic flow grows constantly,and this corresponds to a serious noise increase.The doubling of the traffic flow,when all other vehicle and flow characteristics stay the same,generates a noise level increase of 3dB.
