The Audubon Society's move to challenge the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) standard of certification that both Weyerhaeuser and Plum Creek adhere to is pure marketplace extortion; a Trojan horse stuffed with Earth Firsters! They are trying to force the timber industry to accept an inferior, more costly environmental standard that their ilk created to drastically reduce logging on all lands, while touting that their system would be rewarded in the marketplace. It never has been rewarded.
