Tfhrombotic etiologies are the most common in hepatic venous outflow obstruction, Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) . BCS usually affects young adults, associates with hematologic diseases (poly-cythemia vera, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, and thrombophilia) and thrombotic triggers including oral contraceptives, pregnancy, and cancer [1-3].
