Guelb El Aouj Iron Ore Project To Be Supported By Arab Iron & Steel Union

While Australian Sphere Investments Limited is advancing a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) jointly with Mauritanian state-owned iron ore producer SNIM on the development of Guelb el Aouj Iron Ore Project (eventually a pelletizing plant), the Arab Iron and Steel Union (AISU) recommended at the May 10 General Assembly that its members support the development of this project. Sphere revealed it dispatched a representative composite sample taken from the East Deposit in the Stage 2 drilling to a German metallurgical laboratory for conducting concentration and pelletizing testwork. In 2004 the Company had the same laboratory test a composite sample collected from Center Deposit.
