China's Imports Of Fe-Cr In 2003 Nearly Doubled Compared To That In 2002

According to the customs-statistics released in China, the total quantity of ferro-chrome imported into China in the calendar year ( January - December ) of 2003 came to a considerable increase of 80 - 90 percent compared with that in the preceding year of 2002. Namely, in 2003, China imported 89,315 tons of high carbon ferro-chrome ( compared to 49,829 tons in 2002 ) and 28,424 tons of low carbon ferro-chrome ( compared to 15,193 tons in 2002 ).
