Shipping market is weakened. Movement of bulk cargo such as coal and coke has increased in both the Pacific and the Atlantic routes. Bulk carrier is fixed to carry coke from Japan to Europe. Coeclerici, an Italian shipping company, chartered the Capesize vessel "CAPE ARAXOS" to carry coal of 160,000 tons from Richards Bay, shipping port of South African coal, to Rotterdam at the freight rates of 21 dollars per ton (loading scale and unloading scale of 25,000 tons per day). The fixture has options of trip to unloading port of Sines of Portugal at the freight rates of 19.25 dollars per ton. Laycan period of the vessel is April 1 - 15.
