China's Exports Of Ferro-Alloys In 2004 Are Anticipated To Be Less Than That In 2003

According to the customs-statistics released in China, the quantities of ferro-alloys exported from China in January - May of 2004 were as per the table attached hereto. The total quantity of main five ferro-alloys ( ferro-manganese, ferro-silicon, ferro-chrome, silico-manganese and ferro-molybdenum ) exported from China in the first five months ( January - May ) of 2004 was 592,550 tons. This total quantity comes to 1,442,000 tons on an annualized base and means to shrink a scale of the exports from China in 2004 by 14.5 percent compared with that ( 1,664,000 tons ) of main five ferroalloys exported from China in the calendar year ( January - December ) of 2003.
