According to the statistics released by the Ministry of Finance, the exports of stainless steel scrap from Japan in September of 2006 broken down by shipping ports were as per the tables (1) and (2) attached hereto. Namely, Japan exported 19,606 tons of stainless steel scrap in September of 2006, which had a considerable decrease of 33.5 percent compared with that (29,510 tons) in the previous month - August and kept on a low level as a similar case to that in the same month of 2005.
