Price Of Manganese Ore For Shipments To China In This Quarter Moved To Rise

The price of manganese ore on some of the contracts concluded for shipments to China in July - September quarter of 2006 has risen owing to an increased ocean freight. High grade manganese ore with Mn 48 percent has been settled at 2.50 US dollars per Mn 1 percent CIF China, having basically remained unchanged, but medium silicious grade manganese ore with Mn 45 percent has been contracted at 2.30 US dollars per Mn 1 percent CIF China, having risen by 0.10 US dollars from that for the preceding quarter of April - June.
