The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resources Economics (ABARE) of Australia by its Australian Commodities September Quarter 2006 estimates at world metallurgical coal (including PCI coal and others) consumption, production, exports and imports in 2007. According to the data ABARE estimated both coal imports and exports in 2007 at 236,900,000 MT with increases of 36,900,000 MT (18.5 percent) respectively from 2005.
