Integrating Temple-Inland (TI) into International Paper Co. (IP) is proceeding better than expected even though the two have different approaches to business, says IP CEO John Faraci, reports The Daily News (Memphis, Tenn.).TI "focused on performance" in terms of volume rather than emphasizing profitability, as IP does, Faraci says. "But that doesn't mean we can't get employees to buy into what International Paper is trying to do."
