U.S. corrugated box shipments are expected to grow less than 1 percent for 2012, but growth is expected to accelerate to 2 percent in 2013, and 3 percent in 2014, as the economic recovery finally picks up steam, according to RISI's latest forecast."Industrial production of processed foods and other nondurable goods will remain choppy in the first half," RISI Associate Economist Diana Weiss told attendees at the Association of Independent Converters (AICC) Spring Meeting in Phoenix last month. She shared highlights from RISI's new study, "U.S. Corrugated Box End-Use Markets."
