Aiming at the shortage of oil products in southwest China,Sinopec Group and Guangxi government signed "Cooperation Agreement on the Construction of Guangxi Refining Project" ,planning to construct a large refinery in Beihai city of Guangxi.The geologic exploration has formally started recently.The refining project includes an 8 million t/a refining unit with an investment of RMB12.1 billion,a 300 000 tonnage crude oil dock and a 74.5 km crude oil transportation pipeline etc.
