The Canadian corrugated container market continues to see struggles, due to customer's difficulties with the high Canadian dollar. The surplus of converters in Ontario also hurts the corrugated container market. "We're struggling, as is everyone here," says Chris Pearce, managing director of PearceWellwood Inc., Brampton, Ontario. "There's lots of price pressure and while business is steady, it's definitely not booming. You're fighting for what you have and getting any new business is pretty tough. "The Toronto market is like Chicago - I can't hit a golf ball without hitting a competitor," he says.
