AF&PA Encouraged by EPA Move on NHSM Rule

Earlier this month the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said it would initiate a new rulemaking on the Non-Hazardous Secondary Materials (NHSM) rule, which American Forest & Paper Association President and CEO Donna Harman says is good news. "We are encouraged that the Environmental Protection Agency has decided to replace the flawed rule with a new rulemaking. We understand it will be proposed on the same timeline as the Boiler MACT reconsideration proposal due out the end of the month. We look forward to reviewing the details when they are published.
