Blair Packaging will open a folding carton and specialty packaging plant this spring in Scott City, Mo., initially spending $2.5 million, the Southeast Missourian reports. The operation will be known as Blair Best Box, and will produce recycled consumer boxes used for DVDs, as well as other consumer products, including binders, rigid boxes, sewn products, and advertising specialty items. President Ronn Unterreiner said he hopes to have 20 to 30 employees working on site by the second quarter.
