Paper and Board Production Falls

Total paper and paperboard production in November 2011 dropped by 1 percent from a year ago, reports the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). The operating rate was 90.1 percent, up from October's 89.4 percent.November production of containerboard increased by 1.6 percent year-over-year compared to the 0.6 percent decrease in October year-over-year.
