HOPE Bottles Are Recyclable

Regarding your article, "Plastics Is Winning Perception War" (page 1, Oct. 23), I could not help but notice the comment regarding whether or not HDPE shampoo bottles can be recycled. To say that they are not recyclable because of the colorant is extremely misleading. I specialize in marketing plastics for City Carton Recycling and I successfully move bales, purge, and regrind HDPE color bottles each month.
