Box Shipments Take a Hit

Last year's corrugated box industry shipments fell 1.4 percent on an actual basis and 2.1 percent on an average week basis, the Fibre Box Association (FBA) reports. They reached 389.498 billion sq ft, versus 394.842 billion sq ft in 2006. It's worth noting that last year had 251 shipping days, versus 249 in 2006.
