A sale is under Way for Smurfit-Stone Container Corp.'s (SSCC) shuttered Frenchtown, Mont., linerboard mill and Ontonagon, Mich., corrugating medium mill, the Missoulian reports. "We do have a signed agreement for the sale of both mills and hope to close by year end," says Ron Megna, assistant general counsel for SSCC. "The buyer still has due diligence to complete. It has not consented to my releasing any other information at this time."
