Great Little Box Co. (GLBC), Richmond, British Columbia, acquired the assets of Action Box Co., Langley, British Columbia, on Sept. 10. Since 2009, GLBC has acquired four companies. "This year, [our revenues] will grow for the first time since 2006, and that's because of the acquisitions," says owner Robert Meggy, the Vancouver Sun reports. "We've actually benefited by the recession," he says of his company's ability to acquire other companies mat were put up for sale.
