Dixie Printing & Packaging, LLC, Glen Burnie, Md., has installed two new 80-ton HVAC units by Trane Systems, says COO Kevin Kollman.The new units are designed to improve the plant cooling while at the same time reducing the Kilowatt hours required to maintain a comfortable working atmosphere. Kollman estimated that the new units would reduce electric demand for plant cooling by 25 percent and make the folding carton plant a more responsible environmental steward.
