Mod-Pac Exits Commercial Print Business

Mod-Pac Corp. will exit the slumping commercial print business, eliminating 23 jobs, and will focus on its production of custom folding cartons.The Buffalo-based company said last week the reorganization will include a charge of $2 million to $3 million in the second quarter, the majority of which will be non-cash related. Officials also said the company should realize approximately $900,000 to $1.2 million annually in operating results, beginning in the third quarter of this year.
