Cascades Inc. reports operating income before depreciation (OIBD or EBl'i'DA) and net earnings excluding specific items increased significandy to respectively $107 million (Canadian) and $21 million in the first quarter of 2009 compared to $59 million and a net loss of $9 million in the same period in 2008.
