U.S. Corrugated Acquires McKinley Plant

U.S. Corrugated, Newark, N.J., has acquired Durango McKinley's converting operation in Mesquite, Texas, near Dallas. The large, full service box plant employs 140 people, converting approximately 80,000 tons of containerboard annually. It recently installed a 110 in. BHS corrugator and has a full complement of converting equipment. McKinley's J.I.T. warehousing operation in Houston was included in the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.
