Chemicals Legislation Reach information helpdesk network established

A voluntary network of European helpdesks has been launched to support authorities operating national helpdesks that assist businesses in preparing to meet their obligations under Reach, the new European Union (EU) chemicals legislation1. REACH Help-Net will provide helpdesk officers with an IT platform and access to the know-how of all of its members, in turn allowing them to offer consistent, harmonised and timely advice. It was launched by the European Commission and the 27 EU member states on 15 February 2007.
