The hexafluoropropylene production in Shanghai 3F Materials Co.,Ltd.generated perfluoroisobutene in the past.Perfluoroisobutene is a liquid with acute toxicity and is usually disposed through burning.The company has discovered a two-step process to turn wastes into valuables.In the first step perfluoroisobutene is absorbed by methanol and heptafluoroisobutyl ether while relatively small toxicity is generated.
