Thank you, B. Sharmila, for your kind words and your thoughtful explanation of vernier theory pointing out correctly that the value of each smallest division (least count) on the second vernier scale should actually be 0.09 cm and not 0.01 cm, as mistakenly used in the article. I am grateful we have a community of critical thinkers out there, ever improving the products of the scientific and educational enterprise.
