200 000 t/a methanol project laid foundation in Henan

At the end of 2003,Henan xinxiang Zhongxin Chemical Company Limited,co-established by Zhongzhou Aluminum Plant andJiaozuo Yinhua Chemical Company,held a foundation-laying ceremony for its 200 00 t/a methanol project.With a total investment of RMB800 million and a construction period of two and half year,the project will produce 200 000 t/a methanol as main products and 1 100 t/s sulfur,6 500 t/a liquid ammonia and 25.56 million m~3 fuel gas as byproducts.
