Distinguished Service Citations arepresented to AAPT members in recog-nition of their exceptional contribu-tions to physics teaching. These cita-tions were awarded at AAPT's wintermeeting in Chicago, Feb. 16, 2009:Paul Hickman's distinguishedteaching career includes 25 years as ahigh school physics teacher in NewYork and Massachusetts, and as anassociate professor of education anddirector of Northeastern University'sCenter for the Enhancement of Sci-ence and Mathematics Education(CESAME).
