An In-Class Discussion Activity on the Nature of Science and Intelligent Design

In this paper I describe an in-class discussion activity aimed at helping elementary educa-tion majors in a physical science course thinkabout issues surrounding the inclusion of "IntelligentDesign" in public school science standards. I discussthe background instruction given, the content of theactivity, and some results from its use in class.
