摘要

Temporal changes in the structure of the surface of a steel cylinder upon its corrosion which are accompanied by a multivortex motion of electrolyte have been investigated in a 7 percent aqueous solution of nitric acid in a dc magnetic field. A regular (quasiperiodic) nonuniformly structured surface of the steel cylinder is obtained in a magnetic field, whereas under the same experimental conditions without a magnetic field, corrosion is homogeneous.
