Reportedly, Xiangtan Electrochemical Scientific Co., Ltd. (SZ: 002125) increased the selling price of manganese oxide by 14%, effective June 1st in response to the surged price of raw materials. "This price increase is bigger than those in 2007, however, the price is still lower than the cost," a manager of the company disclosed. "Further price increase is possible this year."
