It could be the definitive road trip-on a proposed super-highway that would wind halfway 'round the world-connecting Moscow with New York City, Berlin, Paris, and London, with help from overpasses, tunnels and trains. Putin dreams big and this one, called the Trans-Eurasian Belt Development (TEPR), is certainly in the grand tradition of Soviet and Russian imperial public projects. In his Dec. 17, 2015 annual press conference in Moscow, he talked about his vision to build this massive project that, according to Russian experts, "would turn the world into a future zone."
