J&J Settles Class Action For ''Misleading' Neutrogena Naturals Claims

Johnson & Johnson has settled a class-action suit alleging that advertising for Neutrogena Naturals skin-care products misleads consumers with its "natural" claims. As part of the agreement, the New Brunswick, N.J., firm will pay $1.3 million into a fund for class members plus up to $500,000 for reimbursement of attorneys' fees and costs. A California federal court (Northern District of California-Oakland branch) will consider a motion for preliminary approval of the settlement Feb. 20.
