Lauder Expands Exec Roles

As part of its continuing organizational redesign, The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. has announced that Jane Lauder, global president and general manager of the Origins and Ojon brands, and Peter Lichtenthal, president of Bumble and bumble, will take on additional responsibilities beginning Jan. 1. Lauder will now oversee the Darphin brand, a change that recognizes her "strategic and operational strengths, as well as Ms. Lauder's proven track record in developing certain of the company's turnaround brands," the firm says in a Nov. 29 release. She will continue reporting to Lynne Green, who will assume the role of group president of Clinique, Origins, Ojon, Aveda and Darphin in the new year.
